It wasn’t until I started sailing that I realized you cannot always tell the sunrises and from the sunsets. As humans many of us know the sunsets from the geographical location we live in. Add in a sailboat and the waterways and you realize your view point it always changing. Since a boat at anchor rotates around with the wind and the tidal currents north is always seemingly changing. Of course north is always north. It is the way the boat sits in relationship to north that is changing sometimes minute by minute. And that… is the beauty of being at anchor. The golden sunset featured in this blog post was taken from the South so we are looking North to North West at the Matanzas Pass Bridge in beautiful Fort Myers Beach, Florida. We are excited to be sharing many more sunrises and sunsets from our adventures.
